A rare vintage sealed spray set of Femme by Rochas — a deep, velvety chypre fragrance first launched in 1944 and loved for its sensual blend of fruits, florals, and warm spices.
Fragrance Character (Original Roudnitska Creation)
Created in 1944 by the legendary Edmond Roudnitska, Femme by Rochas is a carnal and complex chypre — born from scarcity during wartime and beauty from limitation.
Its structure is centered around a rich plum and peach accord (based on Prunol ) blended with aldehydes, dusty immortelle , and a radiant floral heart of ylang-ylang, jasmine, rose, and orris . The drydown is unmistakably vintage: civet, musk, amber, benzoin , and spices — powerful, animalic, and utterly seductive.
Femme was inspired by the iconic curves of Mae West and remains a tribute to confident femininity and timeless sensuality.
